Description
The canine heartworm antigen rapid detection card uses immunochromatography to qualitatively detect cardiac fibrin antigens in canine serum, plasma or whole blood. After the sample was added to the well, it was moved along the chromatographic membrane along with the colloidal gold-labeled anti-HW monoclonal antibody. If the HW antigen is present in the sample, it binds to the antibody on the test line to display wine red. If the HW antigen is not present in the sample, no color reaction occurs.
Assay Procedure:
1. Blood collection, separation of serum or plasma for testing. Whole blood with anticoagulant can also be used for testing, but in order to avoid hemolysis, whole blood samples within 4 hours after collection should be used. Serum and plasma can be stored for 4 hours at 4 degrees, and can be stored for a long time after freezing.
2. Open the aluminum foil packaging bag and take out the test card. Place the test card on a flat surface, pipette the serum, plasma or whole blood sample, and slowly and drop 2 drops to the well with the "S" mark.
3. Place the test at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. The result of more than 15 minutes is invalid.
Result Analysis:
1. Positive: In the observation hole, the detection line region (T) and the control line region (C) simultaneously appear a fuchsia line.
2. Negative: Within the observation well, only a reddish line appears in the control line (C).
3. Failure: In the observation hole, no color line appears in the control line area (C) and the detection line area (T); or only the detection line area (T) appears color line.
Specification: 20T
