Description
English name: PCT test
[Forecast use]
It is used for in vitro quantitative detection of the concentration of procalcitonin in human whole blood, serum and plasma samples.
[Detection principle]
This product uses immunofluorescence quantitative detection technology and immunochromatography. It is used to detect the content of procalcitonin in human whole blood and plasma samples. The blood sample and the sample buffer are mixed in a buffer bottle, and the fluorescently labeled anti-procalcitonin antibody in the buffer combines with the procalcitonin antigen in the blood to form an antigen-antibody complex. When the mixture sample is added to the sample hole of the test card, it diffuses forward along the nitrocellulose membrane under the action of chromatography, and the complex is captured by the procalcitonin antibody fixed on the test line. The more procalcitonin, the more complexes accumulate on the detection line. The signal intensity of the fluorescent antibody reflects the amount of procalcitonin captured. It can be processed by a dry immunofluorescence quantitative analyzer to detect calcium in blood samples. The concentration of the original element. The analyzer's default procalcitonin detection result uses ng/mL as the unit.
